Weekday Daytime PORTRAIT/ANIMAL Classes
Portrait classes will vw held every MONDAY evening between 6:30-10:00. . It takes an average of 5 weeks to do a portrait as they are done the Old Masters way, that was used for hundreds of years. Paint your children, husband or self! Some even paint movie stars...any portrait you want.
$135.00 includes deluxe portrait canvas, all inks, paints and materials needed to complete your painting. If painting an animal..will depend on size of canvas and what animal is painted.

"Antique Rose"
This "painting" is done without paint! A different technique than any of the other florals. The technique will be shown, and all supplies given to finish the project at home if not completed in class. Most should be able to finish it in the class time. Done on an 11X14 deluxe canvas.

We will not be giving the usual amount of "Beginner" classes during the Summer. We may do some oils, acrylics, scratchart, Pen and Ink or Encaustic lessons. We plan on being in the garden or just being outdoors and enjoying our short Summer!
There will be "Advanced" workshops held anytime those with their Advanced Certificates wish to just come out and paint by themselves, with others or with me.
Remember: June 15, 2010 is the deadline for all paintings to be E-mailed to me for critiquing. NO EXCEPTION. I have mailed out several notices about this, plus its on the Advanced Certificate Information site above where you picked your painting from.....not my fault if you don't read the directions.
Some of you started months ago, and I have been putting a bug in your ear to get it done! Time is running out if you want to join the Summer Advanced group! Those that do not finish in time can E-mail their painting to me in late September, and join the Advanced group in the Fall. It takes several hours to critique a painting properly and I just won't have the time during the Summer. Those of you who are serious about getting your Advanced Certificate get your painting in by the deadline. (please)

DAYTIME CLASS
For those of you who have never painted a Portrait, but would like to and don't know where to start......start like I did, with a portrait of Chief Dan George! This class starts JUNE 14, from 6:30-10:00 for 5-6 weeks. A very good place to start.
SPECIAL SUMMER EVENING PORTRAIT CLASSES
Cliff (my hubby) made the frame from old barnwood, tanned moose hide, beads and feathers. Anyone who would want a workshop in making this frame to go with your painting, let me know. .
